On the 20th and 21st of April, Google appeared to have put out yet another Google search ranking algorithm upgrade. It could be a follow-up to the April 18th update, or it could be something completely different. Google has not confirmed that an update is currently being rolled out.
However, the talk is rife right now, and the tracking tools are indicating significant volatility from April 20th, 2022, to April 21st, 2022.
And the March 2022 Product Reviews Update was the most recent confirmed update, and it ended on April 11th, 2022. The most recent unverified update occurred on April 18th, 2022, followed by updates on April 13th & 14th, 2022, and still another on March 18th, 2022, all of which were not confirmed by Google. There will be two more on March 11th and March 4th, 2022.

I'm witnessing large swings in traffic from day today. When USA traffic is down for the entire day, it's incredibly focused on my home page and key landing pages. My home page and my three most important landing pages were all down exactly 55% the other day. The next day, there's a significant rise, but it's mostly bots that aren't being weeded out, and today's traffic is mostly Chinese, Indian, and Bangla.
Because Google is definitely rolling out the new crowded page layouts for an increasing number of queries in the United States (and, I think, the United Kingdom), good quality traffic is in limited supply. Even Q1 2020 was better than Q1 2022. I've had the worst start to the year since 2009 (after the financial meltdown). So either growing inflation and the conflict have driven away my consumers in every country I sell to, OR Google has completely wrecked my business...or both are at work.
Sensors in the UK are at an all-time high, indicating that more change is on the way. It's a shame because, as I previously stated, I felt my search was improving. We'll have to wait and see.
There is still low traffic, and I checked my Google Search Console and Google News visits are only 10 clicks with 300 views, despite the fact that I post daily articles and news updates.
